1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. When you make a purchase, payment is processed by Creem (our Merchant of Record) — we do not store your card details. We also collect the book topics and content you provide during the creation process.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve Typeset, process payments, send transactional emails (receipts, account updates), and generate book content based on your inputs. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. AI-Generated Content
Typeset uses AI models to generate book content. Your topic and context inputs are sent to third-party AI providers for processing. We do not use your content to train AI models. Generated content is stored in your account and is accessible only to you.
4. Payments
All payments are processed securely by Creem, our Merchant of Record. We store a record of your transaction (order ID, amount, credits purchased) but never your payment card details. Refer to Creem's Privacy Policy for their data practices.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data and generated content for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at hello@typeset.cc.
